Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Vital Sleep Habits collects, uses, and stores personal data when you use this website. It applies to information you provide through our contact form and to technical data generated by normal use of the site.

The site operator is Vital Sleep Habits, based in Francistown, Botswana. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you send personal details and we will explain it plainly.

Information we collect

We keep this short on purpose. The site asks for the least it needs to answer you, and it never asks for payment details.

What the contact form sends us

When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you enter. In practice that is your name, your email address, and the content of your message. If you ask for a consultation, we may also collect a phone number and a brief description of your goal — for example, that you want help with sleep, with steady energy through the working day, or with general nutrition habits.

We do not collect payment details through this website. There is no checkout, no card field, and no billing step anywhere on this site.

What we will never ask for

No identity document numbers, no medical records, no bank or card details, and no home address beyond the town you mention in your message. If an email claims otherwise and asks you to send those things, it is not from us.

Writing to us directly

If you email or phone us instead of using the form, we hold the same kind of information: your contact details and the substance of your enquiry. The rules below apply in exactly the same way.

Technical data the server records

Like most websites, our server keeps a standard log. It tells us the site is up and which pages people actually read.

Browser and device type
Which browser and kind of device loaded the page, so we can keep the layout working on phones, tablets and desktop screens. This is not combined with your name.
Approximate location
A coarse region inferred from the connection, useful only for knowing whether visitors are broadly local. It does not put a pin on your address.
Pages visited
Which pages were opened and roughly when, so we can tell whether guidance on nutrition, fatigue, sleep or body care is being found at all.
Nothing that identifies you
Technical logs are not used to build a profile of you as a person. They answer operational questions: is the site reachable, is a page confusing, is something broken.
A quiet office desk with a bowl of fruit and a glass of water beside unlit network equipment, L-shaped shadow from the window
Server logs answer operational questions only. They are not a customer file.

How we use your information

Contact details are used solely to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a consultation if you asked for one, and to keep a record of the exchange so a colleague picking it up is not starting from nothing. That is the whole list of purposes.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you have clearly asked us to. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties, and we do not hand your email to an advertising list.

If you ask a question about nutrition, sleep or fatigue, we answer it as general guidance for adults and we do not treat your message as a clinical record. Please do not send medical reports or test results through the form — we will ask for what we need, in the form we need it, if you book a consultation.

Your rights over your own data

These requests are free to make and we do not ask you to justify them. We will respond within a reasonable period.

  • Ask what we hold

Request a copy of the personal data we store about you and the reason we hold it.

  • Correct a mistake

If your name, email or phone number is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

  • Request deletion

Ask us to remove your message and contact details once the enquiry is finished.

  • Withdraw consent

Stop future contact at any time. We keep nothing running in the background after that.

Cookies, third parties and changes to this policy

Three smaller questions that come up often. Open a row to read the full answer.

How does this site use cookies?

This site uses cookies as described in our cookie policy. They keep the pages working as you move between them — for example, remembering that you have already dismissed the consent notice — and they help us see which pages are read. They are not used to build an advertising profile of you. You can read the full list of what is stored and why on the cookie policy page.

Do you share data with third parties?

We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing. Where third-party services are used for site functionality — hosting, the form that delivers your message, security — they process data only as needed to provide that function, and only on our instruction. If we ever need to involve a new service that touches personal data, we will name it here before it goes live.

What happens when this policy changes?

We may update this policy if our practices change or if legal requirements change. The current version always appears on this page, so there is only one version to trust. Continued use of the site after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy. If the change is significant — for example, a new purpose for the data you already gave us — we will say so clearly rather than burying it in a paragraph.

Questions about this policy

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us through the contact page or use the details in the panel at the top of this document. Include enough detail for us to identify your request and respond accurately — a name, the email address you wrote from, and roughly when you wrote, is usually enough.

If your question is about nutrition guidance, sleep, fatigue or body care rather than privacy, the answer belongs on the relevant page of the site, and our office hours are the same for both.
